Welcome to Learning Unit 1!
Adaptability and flexibility are important skills in the workplace. The ability to adapt to changes in one's surroundings, such as new managers or working procedures, is referred to as adaptability. The ability to quickly and calmly adapt to brief changes, such as taking over a colleague's workload or coming up with multiple solutions to an issue, is known as flexibility. These abilities are beneficial to companies because they keep objectives realistic and help to stabilize situations during crises. Although flexibility and adaptability are similar, adaptability deals with changing to new situations, whereas flexibility deals with meeting the requirements of others.
